Shahid Sattar is a computational material physicist working in the areas of theoretical condensed matter physics and material sciences.
About Me
A computational material physicist working in the areas of theoretical condensed matter physics and material sciences. His research interests include electronic, spintronics, and thermoelectric properties of materials with special focus on two-dimensional materials and heterostructures.
He obtained his PhD in Materials Science and Engineering from King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST), Saudi Arabia. Currently, he is working as a Post-Doctoral Fellow at the Department of Physics and Electrical Engineering, Linnaeus University, Sweden. Prior to that, he also worked at the Luleå University of Technology (LTU), Sweden, for two years. He is actively involved in various research projects doing cutting-edge research in condensed matter physics. He also worked as a Lecturer at the University of the Punjab, Lahore, Pakistan (for one year) and at Syed Babar Ali School of Science and Engineering (SBASSE), Lahore University of Management Science (LUMS), for two years.
